Midwestern by birth, New Yorker by choice.
I grew up in rural Kansas listening to 90s country music and growing up in the vocabulary of Wranglers and cowboy boots. Often finding my inspiration through junk shops and flea markets, I developed an eye for vernacular design influenced by Montgomery Ward Catalogs and Life Magazines. My design philosophy is that everything should bring joy and connection to the user no matter what.
I believe all design is interrelated, and I’ve proven in my work that my diverse skill sets are a strength for projects of all kinds. User experience is an extension of these principles. I think that a user should be the beneficiary of great experiences. Brands need personality and expression to be memorable in an increasingly distracting time; I bring that energy to every project.
In my spare time, my hobbies are weightlifting, walking, and cooking. Ask me about my roast chicken and pies!
